The water has recently been stocked with more than 1000 Rainbows, some larger ones included. Together with recent cooler weather and finally some rainfall this can only be good news for the fishing. Results have instantly improved dramatically with full bags again achievable.
The club competitions have been well supported this year and the penultimate round of the daytime League was held on Sunday 14th September with some excellent catches. The results including the current league table can be found under the competitions tab, or by clicking the link HERE
There are two trophies up for grabs on the final competition of the 2025 season on Sunday 12th October. The One Day Championship shield will be awarded to the winner on the day and there is the Daytime League winner to be settled.
Currently two anglers are joint top in the league, Pete Williams and Andy Fotheringham, but close on their heels are several others meaning a tense finish to the league with the chance for any one of 6 anglers to win the league.
