The lake has been stocked again with a further 600 rainbows today. It was already fishing well with a rod average of 4.44 last week so its a great time to have a go. I know for a fact that even before todays stocking some anglers have been catching up to 10 fish in a session and here have been multiple full bags since the season started.
Another piece of good news is that the Wes Ower memorial competition (open to all including non members) will become an annual event. A date has already been set for next years competition Sunday 8th March 2026. A great way to start the season off. South West Lakes Trust will be providing a trophy for this event.
