Wes Ower Memorial Open Competition
March 9 @ 09:30 - 16:00
£10Wes will be sadly missed, a hugely popular man in the fly fishing world and one of the best fly tyers. He was heavily involved in the Fly Dressers Guild and had his own fly dressing materials company in Hooks & Hackles. He was also our Chairman.
It is only fitting that we hold a Charity Open in his name with the proceeds going to his favoured charity, the Air Ambulane. All entry fees will be donated to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, and South West Lakes Trust are very generously donating a £200 voucher for the winner. Entry fee is £10 (you will also need a valid 5 fish permit for the day, or a season ticket). The entry fee is payable on the day in cash.
